#Translation required On August 20 and 21, UMNB is excited to be hosting our first Mayors School event at the Crowne Plaza Fredericton. Thanks to the funding support of the Department of Environment and Local Government, we are able to offer this valuable training and networking event to all new and returning New Brunswick mayors, including communities that are not currently UMNB members.
This is bilingual 1.5-day event and will be a fantastic growth opportunity and a chance for mayors to strengthen skills specific to their role, including chairing meetings, working with council members and staff, the role of Regional Service Commissions, best practices in communications with media and citizens, and learning from experienced mayors.
