October 7-9, 2022
Annual Conference
UMNB’s 2022 Annual General Meeting was held at the Delta Fredericton over Thanksgiving weekend, October 7-9, 2022.
We were excited to welcome 199 delegates, 34 speakers, and 43 vendors to Fredericton for our first in person Annual Conference since 2019. Members gathered for sessions and discussion on many topics including: municipal reform, the housing crisis, climate change, RCMP, Municipal-Indigenous relationships, and many more. The membership undertook the business of UMNB at the Annual General Meeting on Sunday October 9, including deciding policies and priorities by voting on resolutions, hearing financial and operational reports, and receiving updates on committee and zone work.
Together we celebrated winners of the Raymond Murphy Memorial Award and the Louise Breau Memorial Award, acknowledged Long Service Award winners, toasted municipalities celebrating milestones of incorporation, and honoured municipal elected officials who have passed away.
