Associate Membership
The Union of Municipalities of New Brunswick (UMNB) has launched a new associate membership category to allow partners and supporters to strengthen the Union.
As an associate member, you will gain access to many advantages including:
- Member pricing at UMNB events
- Access to “The Bulletin”, UMNB’s exclusive newsletter.
- Discounted advertising opportunities in The Bulletin.
- Opportunities to participate in webinars and learning opportunities.
- Advanced access to UMNB research and policy documents.
- Supporting the development of strong communities.
Eligibility
Associate Membership is open to:
- Government agencies and public-sector partners.
- Non-profit and community organizations.
- Private sector companies and industry associations whose objectives align with UMNB’s mission.
- Rural Districts and related entities wishing to engage with the municipal sector.
All applications are reviewed and approved by the UMNB Governance Committee or its designate to ensure alignment with UMNB’s values and strategic priorities.
Membership Categories

| Partner | Government and public-sector organizations supporting municipal work. | Regional Service Commissions, Provincial Departments, Crown Corporations, etc… | $1,500 |
| Associate Member (Rural Districts) | Rural Districts seeking to engage with municipalities and participate in UMNB initiatives and training. | Rural Districts | $2,000 |
| For-Profit Organizations | Businesses, corporations, and professional associations involved in municipal-related industries. | Construction or Engineering Firms, Chambers of Commerce, Consultants, Private Industry etc… | $1,000 |
| Non-Profit Supporters | Non-profit or community organizations whose goals align with UMNB’s mission and priorities. | Provincial Non-Profits, Charitable Organizations, Association, | $250 |
All associate membership categories are non-voting and subject to approval by UMNB’s Governance Committee.
Application & Renewal
Interested organizations may apply by completing the Associate Membership Application Form.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. Once approved, invoices for membership dues will be issued annually. Memberships are valid for one calendar year and are renewable upon payment.
